The 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by the charming Neil Patrick Harris, called for television's top stars—Kerry Washington, Claire Danes and Zooey Deschanel to step out in an array of gowns.

January Jones

January Jones looked chic and sophisticated in this pale pink lace Givenchy dress. The Mad Men star accessorized with a side-swept 'do and a nude lip. Betty Draper may be boring, but January's dress is anything but.

Lena Dunham

Oh, Lena. This floral Prada gown might have looked good on the rack, but for the red carpet, it didn't do Girls star any favors. It's just not the right fit for her body type.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum went for sequins at the Emmy Awards and as usuall looked trashy and way too much sparkly.

Leslie Mann

Mann chose a sleek, geometric paneled J. Mendel dress which made her body look amazing.

Claire Danes

Elisabeth may not have taken home the gold, but she earned a spot atop the Best Dressed list, which is almost the same thing, right?
